Carmen & I went to the pool both days....Sunny & Laura joined us. Carmen is a little fish. I am so proud of her! Yesterday I put her under the water for the first time. We did that 4x yesterday - the last two times I asked her if she wanted to do it and she said yes...came up smilin'. She did really well at closing her mouth and eyes. We ride the bike to the pool - we have to strap stuff on top but it's easier than putting a baby w/ a wet swimsuit in the car seat!
This picture makes me laugh. As the saying goes "sometimes things aren't what they seem". It looks as though Sunny is pushing Carmen under the water & Laura is trying to stop her. The real story. Sunny is headed towards Carmen, looses her balance, starts to fall, puts her hands out which just happen to be while Carmen is squatting into the water. Laura is trying to catch Sunny & keep Carmen above water. The moment wasn't that big of a deal but the picture looks like there was more to it. HA! :)
Carmen was having a ball when I pulled her around in the water & took her under. We will work on blowing more bubbles next time...so she can hold her breath longer.

And after you swim, you get a yummy snack! Strawberries & blueberries!
