Happy Easter!First I wanted to update you on my camera. For those of you that have been following that saga...would you believe the old camera is now working? So - do we keep the new camera & buy a new computer?!??!?! I'd still need to buy another $40 battery for it - so that is probably my answer. :)
Lots of new pictures to post! I always think I'm doing a good job taking pictures...until I download & realize I've not gotten any with Pepa, or MaMa & Papa Link, or Tara, or Haley & Austin or ... etc. :{ We had a good time with family this weekend. We had an interesting drive home today - Carmen cried for the last 20-30 minutes of the drive. That's probably the most she's cried in the last 4 months combined! We're not sure what the deal was - I think she was still hungry (we stopped to feed her & had no more warm water) & just tired. She had a big weekend of entertaining her fans, the paparazzi was also in full force.
Carmen with her first Easter basket! It's from her special friend Kerry George (from church who babysits).
Carmen's 7 month photo!! As Mom said...the bunny is shrinking!
Brian took her outside last week when it was nice (and the wind wasn't blowing 90 mph). He couldn't get her to take her eyes off the grass!
Carmen's first boo-boo...she fell on a toy at daycare. Tough girl! No crying!
See how long her hair is getting? She has bed head some mornings now! :)
Aunt Lori preoccupied Carmen with this for a while - or maybe it's the other way around???
Great Aunt Suzie made her a little bunny for Easter. Carmen got to spend some time with Suzie & Great Grandma B.
Ok - I'm being serious when I say I nearly peed my pants during these next few pictures. I was laughing SO hard. Anna & Alaina set up a store/restaurant in their basement. They invited us to come check it out - everything was free yesterday (oh how I wish it were real life!) They were wanting to put Carmen in their baby's stroller & high chair. It didn't look too safe (we did try the stroller but only for a moment), so I suggested we try the clown wig instead. At first, Carmen was looking up & trying to pull it off. Until...we got upstairs! Everyone started laughing & then she got into entertaining the bunch. She laughed right along with everyone & wore that wig with pride. She was smiling from ear to ear.
Carmen liked Mother Goose - unless she was telling her story, then she wasn't so sure of it. I just love this picture. Those eyes!!! It was also getting close to feeding time so she had her sucker lips going.
