New words: bite, ice, dinosaur (not completely clear but she gives it a whirl!), Justin (who she has a love/hate relationship with {daycare provider's hubby} - one day she loves, most days she doesn't...not sure why!)...if she's in the mood she'll repeat anything you ask her to say just about.
She was really talking to someone too...
Wednesday's funny story. I was changing Carmen from PJs to clothes - getting ready for daycare. The more of her PJs that I took off - the harder she cried. I kept asking her what was wrong. Finally after I had her jeans half on, I decided to hold her in the chair & let her simmer down a bit. So it hit me...and I asked if she wanted to leave her PJs on. She said yes. So I started to pull off the jeans. More crying. Asked her if she wanted to leave her jeans on. She said yes. She wanted the jeans & the PJs on. So I explained that we only needed to wear one to daycare. She decided on the jeans but did not want to wear the shirt I had picked out. She she picked out her shirt...wearing it below.
The night before we had tried on jackets - to see if they were ready to be put in the hand me down box yet. I explained we were only trying them on - I didn't want her to think we were going "bye-bye". When I took off the 2nd & last jacket, she started crying. Figured out quickly - after she handed me the jacket that she wanted it back on. Then she handed me the 2nd jacket to put on over the first one. She wore them around the house that way for a while.
Bath time w/ Mama.
Carmen can now meow with the cats. She meows back at them when they meow. I'm sure they don't think it's cute, but hey - better than being chased...again.
I wanted to post the meow videos - but something isn't cooperating. Next time!
