9 month check up

Height: 29" (although I have measured her at over 29" 2x now)

Weight: 20 lbs 13.5 oz

Dr. Morrison said we have one happy, healthy baby on our hands. However, she did have to get a baby 3 day z-pac (antibiotic). I wasn't very happy about but she's had this cold for 11 days, she has rattle in her chest, and the Dr. said her nose didn't look good (she didn't have that when I took her on the 15th). She doesn't act like she feels bad but he did say it could lead into an ear infection or sinus infection.

Here are some pictures from our pool trip on Sunday. She gets a lot of compliments on the hippo raft, which she is kissing in this picture below. Our friends Danielle & Peggy met us there.

Ok, so here's why I haven't done a blog update in a while!!! We were in Marco Island, FL Tuesday through Friday....Mama Link stayed w/ Carmen. They had fun and I think Mama Link was busy yet entertained with Miss Link. :) Brian & I missed Carmen but had a great time! Lots of R&R!

These pictures are from this morning. This is one of my favorite outfits right now - from Great Aunt Joyce.

Carmen is getting some little curls in her hair! It's more in the back but it's definitely there. I'm not sure where she got them from but they're cute!

Carmen & Lilly were buddies this morning. Lilly got a surprise tonight though. Apparently (I wasn't home yet) Carmen grabbed ahold of her back leg & drug her a little. Lilly probably will not get so close anymore.

Carmen & I went to visit Laura & Sunny on Sunday. The girls hadn't been around each other in a while...and we had to get pictures of them in these outfits! Laura found them at a garage sale. I'm QUITE certain it will not fit her by fall. We will have to resort to other Mizzou attire. She had a good time playing w/ Sunny's crawling Pooh, studying him quite closely in the below photo.

Carmens' FIRST time to the pool on Sunday!! We got in the baby pool - she didn't say much just kinda smiled & watched the other kids. We did not get in the big pool it is entirely too cold still (it usually doesn't warm up until about early July). I love this picture below. Reading her book by the pool.

Speaking of books. The girl is a book worm. She loves books. She looks at them, turns the pages, loves to sit together & read (although only the more rhyming books w/ thick pages...she has gotten picky!)

Here's another picture before we went to the pool. Good thing I took 2 hats, this is the one we started in until she spit up on it.
