What a nice weekend with family! We traveled to Mexico this weekend - Carmen was a good little traveler! Phew! She is over her cold, luckily it didn't stay with her as long as it has Brian & I. Now Alisa has it! Carmen is getting taller & taller by the day - that or her clothes are shrinking. :) We'll have to weigh her to see what she's up to now - I'd guess 21 lbs at least. We are starting the transition from baby food to table food. We're starting to run out of the homemade baby food so I thought it'd be a good time to transition. It will be a process to be sure she's getting enough - it was easy to tell w/ the homemade stuff because she'd get 4-5 cubes (out of an ice cube tray) per meal.
One day Carmen crawled under her bed. I had to get her attention but when she peeked out she thought it was funny. The little bunny in the background is the bunny she's been sleeping with. She seems to be developing more "attitude". And she is starting to get her feelings hurt when you tell her hands away/no.

Carmen loves playing on beds/couches. We were playing this morning, then Pepa was holding her up to the ceiling which she found very fun as well.

Another piano player in the family???

This is a popular facial expression right now. We had her in front of a fan. See the curls on her left side? They're only on the left :).

Hi, Carmen,
It sounds like you had a great weekend. It was a beautiful one. The coneflowers are pretty in the photo with Grandma Baldwin, Haley and Austin. I'm sure you enjoyed being outside.
Things are good here. I'm glad your cold didn't last very long, and I hope Mommy and Daddy are feeling much better, too.
We'll be anxious to see you again.
Love, MaMa Link
That's funny you said she's developing more of an "attitude." Sunny is too!! We'll have to talk about it!
