Carmen blowing raspberries. For a few days she was blowing out her lips and keeping them so tight together that she was holding her breath. Her face would turn read & cheeks would puff up. Funny stuff.
Pepa made Carmen look quite studious with his glasses. Believe it or not this picture was taken in about 1 second - just enough time to put them on, snap the pic & take them off before she started moving around.

Today at daycare Carmen rolled over front to back & back to front. We worked with her yesterday and she did roll over once back to front. Poor Alisa - she didn't want to tell me since it had happened in front of her & not us!
Carmen started on cereal yesterday! I am going to try to make her food, so she is enjoying brown rice cereal right now. I think once I get a system down it will be simple and much much cheaper!

Finally, we have some new pictures of you. We have missed them! Tell that camera repairman your fans are waiting.
A happy 5 month birthday to you. And, what an accomplishment to mark your 5 months - rolling over both ways. That is super. We will see a big difference when we see you next weekend. How quickly the time flies by.
(Cereal will make some really nice bubbles, but don't tell Mommy and Daddy I suggested it.)

Dear Carmen,
Yesterday at school, we did crafts and played. A visitor came and talked about food. These are the healthy foods. When you get bigger, you will be able to eat these foods. They are bread, milk, fruit, vegetables and meat.
We are going to have a Valentine's Day party tomorrow at school. My valentines to the boys' are dogs and the girls' are Dora, and I signed every one, and that was a lot of writing.
When we get all the bows on our kite, we are going to have a valentine party in Miss Julie's special room.

We got a very special valentine yesterday with a picture of a very special little girl smiling out at us from a big heart.
I took it with me today when we did our valentine cakes to show Dara and Cathy Bagby. I send pictures to Dara, but Cathy hadn't seen your picture.
Everyone says they just want to pick you up and squeeze you.
I hope your mailbox was full of valentines today.
