Tonight we went to swing & have a photo shoot - it had been a while. She wasn't too interested in smiling for the camera, the grass was far more interesting than Mom. :)

Though it looks like it, I did not superimpose her into this picture!

Carmen will be trying out for the church worship team. Between her egg shaker abilities & her singing (which I really want to try to get on video soon!) - she's s shoe in!!!

Happy 4th of July (almost!) At daycare, they have a craft day every week during the summer. This week was tye-dying (did I spell that right?) Here's Carmen's onesie. I cracked up! I don't know if you can tell but her hair is getting really long! We almost have to put it in a clip or hair tie every day.

She likes to be chased now. You'll see in the video she was trying to carry something in her hand, hard to do when you're run/crawling!

Carmen's completely over her cold - yeah!!!! No more coughing or nose wiping.

We taught Carmen to drink through a straw - pretty cute!

9 month check up

Height: 29" (although I have measured her at over 29" 2x now)

Weight: 20 lbs 13.5 oz

Dr. Morrison said we have one happy, healthy baby on our hands. However, she did have to get a baby 3 day z-pac (antibiotic). I wasn't very happy about but she's had this cold for 11 days, she has rattle in her chest, and the Dr. said her nose didn't look good (she didn't have that when I took her on the 15th). She doesn't act like she feels bad but he did say it could lead into an ear infection or sinus infection.

Here are some pictures from our pool trip on Sunday. She gets a lot of compliments on the hippo raft, which she is kissing in this picture below. Our friends Danielle & Peggy met us there.

Ok, so here's why I haven't done a blog update in a while!!! We were in Marco Island, FL Tuesday through Friday....Mama Link stayed w/ Carmen. They had fun and I think Mama Link was busy yet entertained with Miss Link. :) Brian & I missed Carmen but had a great time! Lots of R&R!
